Brief

As a cohort we were given full creative freedom to design and produce a public exhibition for our typefaces. This would be anything from the branding, promotional material, and exhibition set up for the public to interact with.


Exhibition Story

The theme 'Mosaic' was chosen because we all had something very different about our work. We had to find a way to bring 12 typefaces together to create a unified show. Tiles can all look and be made differently but they can be put together to create a masterpiece. Each person got to be proud of their work while supporting each other.

Touchpoints

Our physical elements is what brought our exhibition together. No one had to question where to go or what item related to what because of our consistent branding and cohesive palette.


Takeaways

It was definitely a big challenge to work with the entire cohort to create a cohesive exhibition. We had multiple different teams to get each area accomplished by our launch date. I wish we had more time but that was just part of the exhibition constraints. Overall it was a big learning experience to make and curate our own public show.
